Inspiration

This week I have been inspired by many things. The LORD, Fellow Bloggers, Homeschool Moms, the simple things, My Kiddos, My Husband, My Tiny Apartment.  All have shown me some inspiration, here are a few of my Favorites!!
1.) Thank You Lord for perspective!!  I am Wife, Mother and Bride of God and should Greet each, chore and task with a Grateful Heart.  I was made to serve God and  doing Housework and keeping myself together, makes God Happy!!

2.) My Children and Husband inspire me to be a Better Person, Mother and Wife.  I am so very Grateful for the opportunity to be able to Homeschool and be a Housewife(with a little Part-time Job).  I know I am not Perfect, only the LORD is, but I inspire to be a GREAT Teacher, Mom and Wife, and WILL NOT let Satan tell me other wise.

3.) To Be a More Godly Woman!!  I saw a wonderful Quote this week that has become my new Motto:  "I want to be the Woman, that as soon as my Feet Hit the Floor in the Morning, Satan Says "Oh Crap...She's Up!!"

4.)  I will become a Better Me(Physically)!!  The GYM will Become my New Best Friend, and I WILL NOT eat Badly...ALL THE TIME!!!  No Crash Diets or Gimmicks..Just Making Better Choices, smaller portions, Running on the Treadmill(I ran 1.25 miles without stopping on Wed.....Big Yea Me Moment!!),  and Lots of Prayer!!  Mantra as I Run:" I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me." Philippians 4:13

5.) "What if Your Blessings come through Rain Drops, what if Your Healing comes through tears, What if a thousand sleepless Nights are what it takes to know Your near?  What if Trials of this Life are Your Mercies in Disguise."  Laura Story

Accept the Blessings He is Blessing You with!!  Be Joyful and Praise His name!!

Eggie

Our First Homeschool Real Life Science Project has Fallen into our Laps..well..Little Hands! ;)  While at the Pond Fishing with there Daddy, my kids came across an abandoned Duck Egg. After using Her Persuasive way, My Daughter convinced my Husband she HAD TO RESCUE it and Bring it Home!!  So Yes..I have a Duck Egg at my house =)   Not know too much about it...if it was fertilized etc..we decided to let her do as she may to SAVE her Duck!!  She put it in a Hamster carrier surrounded by Hamster Bedding and Fluff and put it out on the front Porch Table(we live in Texas..outdoor incubator). =)  We check on it almost everyday, and have seen DEVELOPMENT!!  Sooo....I went online today and Googled the Gestation period of a Duck Egg and found a very helpful Blog with Pictures and everything.  Well....Looks my 11 year old is going to be a Mommy ;)...her Little SAVED egg is about 13days along in a 27 day gestation process!  Today we saw Him MOVING>>what a WONDROUS sight!!  I am so PROUD of her for having the Heart to SAVE that little Lonely Egg and care for it in such a way that it is actually going to Hatch!!  I will update as we get closer to Hatch Day, which if we are calculating correctly, will be around August 30th.  I have posted the Website off to the side where we got the info, and some Pics.  Thanks for Reading

Here We Go!!

So I decided that since we are starting a season of new beginnings, I would also give Blogging a Try...so Here We Go!  After much Prayer and consideration, I have decided to withdraw my kids 8 and 11 from public school and Homeschool them this year!  Homeschool has been heavy on my heart for about 2 years now, but never seemed to work out, well this year the Lord threw that door WIDE open!!  I quit my part time job(with full-time hours), and was lead back to working in the Children's Ministry at our church.  WOW what a Blessing!!  In the sort time I have been back at Gateway(our Church), the Lord has presented me with some wonderful reassurance coming from some wonderful NEW friends and Homeschool Moms!!  I am in Awe of the work the Lord is doing..all I had to do was listen and obey!!  Praise the Lord!!  We have found a WONDERFUL homeschool group in a city nearby, a Precious Friend who is now my Mentor and Hero ;), and a Group of Homeschool kiddos from our Church we can hang out with and socialize.  We will be more social now than we were in Public school...who says Homeschoolers loose socialization???  I feel Blessed Beyond Belief and my kids could not be Happier!!
Besides homeschool, both of my kiddos made LAC swim team and start this new and exciting adventure at the end of the month. I get to start a Ladies Life Group at our church which I have never been able to be apart of before do to working, and I am auditioning for a part in our Churches Christmas Production.(I am very Nervous)  A New School year full of Fun and Exciting activities and Friends.  We give this year to the Lord and Thank Him for his Provisions and Grace!!  Well...I will try to update weekly once we start Homeschool after Labor Day...thanks for reading my Life on screen =)  Many Blessings!
